The Lincoln-Sudbury Friends of Music is a parent-led organization dedicated to providing funding, programs, and opportunities which complement and extend the instrumental and vocal music curriculum at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. We raise funds, provide logistical support, publicize music events, and advocate for a strong, vibrant program within the Lincoln-Sudbury community. Friends of Music provides funding for:

Master classes and guest artists
Commissioned works (for our musical groups)
Needs-based scholarships for private music instruction
Travel to competitions/performances
Purchase of instruments/music not funded by school budget

Friends of Music seeks to provide balanced funding for enrichment opportunities that address the needs and interests of music students at L-S.

Buy New Instruments

Some instruments used by the LSRHS music program are as old as the students who are playing them. This year LS Friends of music will participate in the purchase of a new tenor sax.

A Capella Master Class

This workshop consisted of an A Capella demonstration by a college group from Ithaca College.
